Therese (Mom)

Diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at 24 and breast cancer at 44, I am no expert — but I believe I know a thing or two. For the past ten years, I’ve been silent about my life’s journey, thinking maybe it would all just fade away. I never wanted cancer to define me. But how can something that has shaped so much of my life not shape the person I’ve become?
For me, this website is a place to begin healing by speaking my truth.
Healing doesn’t end when treatment does. Through honest storytelling, I hope to make peace with a body that has been through battle. I will share what I’ve learned about managing lingering fatigue, finding nourishment, celebrating small victories, and doing the quiet, daily work of healing. My hope is to remind others that resilience is built in the moments that shape us most — and that life after cancer is still life: messy, beautiful, challenging, and worth navigating one day at a time.

Haylee (Daughter)

Being the wife of a disabled Marine Corps combat veteran and first time mother, my days are anything but boring. If I’m not chasing around my toddler or participating in shenanigans with my husband, you can usually find me with a cup of coffee in one hand and a spatula or gardening tool in the other!

I believe true wellness begins with caring for the whole person—mind, body, and soul. I am grounded in my faith and guided by His grace. I share thoughtful reflections on balance, nourishment, and everyday rhythms that support a well-lived, full life all from our homestead. My approach to wellness is rooted in intention, gratitude, and trust in God’s presence through every season.

Navigating your 20’s can be chaotic, let alone trying to do it while trying to regain balance over your health. My twenties have been filled with a strong focus on movement, strength, and building back a healthy relationship with my body. I’m passionate about fitness, functional routines, and supporting sensitive skin and digestion.

I share practical approaches to staying active while prioritizing mental health and balance – all while working full time, going to school, and spending time with those I love. My wellness journey centers on consistency without burnout, self-awareness, and learning how to honor both physical and emotional well-being through every season of change.
