My Go-To Gym Essentials For Every Workout

Going to the gym is a non-negotiable for me! I am there everyday rain or shine, and not just because of my physical health, but for my mental health as well. As I mentioned last week, going to the gym is one of the ways I help manage my stress and anxiety! It really is such a great way to release all that negative energy and get back to feeling better and more like myself. I thought I’d share some of my go-to essentials for when I hit the gym!

1) Blogilates Weighted Vest + Ankle Weights
I love these on days where I’m taking my workout outside. I usually use these on walks or hikes when I want to add a little something to my workout. Using these helps with my endurance and overall strength. They also make my workout more intense which means I’m burning more calories!
2) New Balance Timberwolf
These are literally my everyday shoe. I wear these to work, to the gym, running errands…you name it! I have worn them for years, and I love that I can do anything in them. Standing for hours on a concrete floor can be super hard on your back; wearing these shoes makes it so much more bearable.
3) Nike Cotton Crew Socks
Nike always makes a great product, and these are no exception. These socks are light and breathable, but they are also pretty durable. They are pretty much the only socks I wear! I like that they are low profile, so they make a great everyday sock or workout sock.
4) Amazon Jumpsuit
I feel like great jumpsuits are so hard to find because they never really fit great everywhere you need them to. They’re tight in one area and super loose in another. They never fit right, at least that was my experience until I found this one! It fits me in all the right places without showing off too much. IYKYK. This one also gets bonus points in my book because it is great for us smaller chested queens!
5) Cotton On Sports Bra
I think I probably own every color this sports bra comes in! They are so comfortable, breathable, and don’t put too much tension areas that I need more access to during workouts. I could probably wear these all day every day if I really wanted to!
6) Stanley Straw Jug
This girl goes everywhere with me, and I mean EVERYWHERE! I love its handle so it’s easy to carry with me wherever I go, but I especially love that I can fill it once or twice during the day and not have to refill it. She holds 64oz, so I am set for the day’s hydration just by chugging her along with me!
7) Wolfpack Backpack
My Wolfpack is such a great gym bag. It is definitely on the smaller side, but I’m a smaller person. Carrying around a huge backpack, just is not in the cards for me. This one is great, though. It’s got plenty of inside space and lots of pockets to keep my things organized and safe.
