It’s Been A While…
Therese, Haylee, + Tori
We realize that we suddenly disappeared without explanation. While those closest to us know the extent of what we’ve been going through, we wanted to share a very brief snapshot of our lives lately.
At the end of April, Haylee underwent a routine surgery that, unfortunately, turned very bad, very fast. Unfortunately, she had to be airlifted to a hospital in the city to receive the higher level of care that she so desperately needed. To put it bluntly….we almost lost her.

After 35 days in the hospital, she was transported closer to home where she spent almost a month in a rehabilitation facility. There, with the help of physical and occupational therapy, she regained a majority of the strength she has now. During the entirety of this time we were able to support Haylee and her husband both in person and from afar. Life moves quickly and this experience has reminded us to enjoy the lives that God has given us and to enjoy them together – more and as often as we can.
We are happy to report that Haylee is FINALLY back home.
We are beyond thankful for the doctors, nurses, and support staff who took care of her, prayed for her, prayed with her and with us. We are also extremely thankful for our family and friends who came from many miles away to do the same.
As for the blog, we’re not going anywhere.
While it will take a little bit of time to get things rolling again, we are excited to get back to sharing and making connections with you all. Thank you for your continued support and patience while we navigate this time as a family.

We love you soooooooooo much!
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God … to those called according to His purpose.”
